Deep Root Center for Self-Directed Learning is hosting an information session Thursday, September 18th from 12-2pm. If you know of a youth who is unhappy, disengaged, vulnerable, or struggling in their current schooling situation, plan on joining Deep Root Center staff and board members to learn how this unique educational option in downtown Canton can support their choice to leave school. A showing of Ken Danford''s TedX Talk (the founder of North Star; Self-Directed Learning for Teens) will be followed by a question and answer period.

East Side Festival-Human Trafficking Walk-a-Thon
This exciting event will showcase Billy Wayne & Tattered Saints and will also host a number of great local gospel choirs, rappers, bands and professional acoustic artists the entire day. The festival includes a human trafficking walk-a-thon, variety of food vendors and kiddie activities.
Registration for the walk-a-thon begins at 7:30am

From 3 - 4 PM on Saturday, September 20, The Village of Norwood & Norwood Kiwanis offer a free rabies clinic in the Norwood Fire Station. Bring your pet and most current rabies certificate, if you have one. The clinic is free. Donations welcome to support programs for our local youth.

Harvest Festival October 4th and 5th at Honey Dew Acres LLC: A fun-filled weekend with a variety of activities for the whole family. Festival will be held at 169 Post Rd. Canton 10AM-4PM both days.
