Girls Incorporated of Upper Canada is recognizing strong, smart, and bold women in Leeds-Grenville. The signature event will be a cocktail party at which our 2013 Strong, Smart, and Bold Women of the Year Awards will be presented. JULY 12TH
The sixth annual COGECO Girls Inc. Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, July 12th at the Prescott Golf Club. The tournament follows a scramble format, opening rain or shine with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. and wrapping up with dinner in the evening.
The registration fee is $80 ($50 for members of the Prescott Golf Club). Each golfer will have a chance to win some great prizes. All golfers are welcome, organizers hope to see a full tournament of 144 golfers turn out this year. Participants can register as an individual, a pair or a foursome. Overeaters Anonymous
Overeaters Anonymous offers a program of recovery from compulsive eating using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of OA. Worldwide meetings and other tools provide a fellowship of experience, strength and hope where members respect one another’s anonymity. OA charges no dues or fees; it is self-supporting through member contributions.
OA is not just about weight loss, gain or maintenance; or obesity or diets. It addresses physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. It is not a religious organization and does not promote any particular diet. If you want to stop your compulsive overeating, welcome to Overeaters Anonymous.
Overeaters Anonymous meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 pm and Saturday at 10 am at Wall Street United Church.
