Norwood Beach Duathlons
Norwood Beach Duathlon Sets Race Days
The Norwood Beach Duathlon will be held on the following Tuesdays through the summer: June 24, July 22, and August 19. Registration begins at the beach on Lake Shore Drive, at 6:00 pm, with the race starting at 6:30. The race consists of a 1.5 mile run, 8 mile bike, and 1.5 run. Individuals and teams may register. Racers under 18 must have parental consent. Family participation is welcomed. Cost is $5 per race or $15 for the series. T-shirts will be given to those paying for the series. Proceeds from the event will go to the John C. Purvis Memorial Scholarship Fund for graduating seniors and to the local Neighborhood Center and Food Pantry. Contact info: Josh Eng, 262.6774.
